Key Features
- Composed of a variety of powdered materials that release nitrogen slowly over 5-6 weeks; monosaccharide-form carbohydrates and starches promote microbial activity and reproduction.
- Added humus improves cation exchange capacity (CEC), eases soil salt buildup, and improves soil resilience in hot, dry climates.
- With virtually no salt content, it causes no fertilizer burn and has practically no leaching or volatilization loss, so most of it is absorbed by the plant.
- Acts like a sponge in sandy soil, holding and supplying nutrients.
